Does Charette replace our estimating software?
No. Your estimators keep estimating where they estimate. Charette takes what those tools produce and holds the project-level truth — the trajectory across milestones, the decisions in flight, the reconciled position — that no single estimate file can.
How do people sign in?
Through Microsoft Entra ID — your existing Microsoft 365 tenant. Owners and design partners join as guests through the same flow, even without a Microsoft account. There is no separate password to issue or forget.
Can the owner see our fee structure?
Only if you decide they should. Access is role-scoped and enforced on the server — an owner without cost detail gets rolled-up totals that still add up, while unit costs, markups, and fee percentages never leave the server. Every report has a one-switch redacted copy.
What does the integration setup look like?
Estimating and spreadsheet imports work from the files you already export. Bid platforms, scheduling tools, and project-management systems connect through their APIs. If your stack includes something else that speaks an API, ask — custom integrations are part of the conversation.
Where does our data live?
In a dedicated database behind your sign-in — not commingled, not training anyone's model. Full JSON export is one click, so your data is portable on your terms.
Does the AI make up numbers?
No. All arithmetic runs through one deterministic cost engine — the same engine behind every screen and every export. The assistant reads those numbers; it never computes its own.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on team size and how much of the stack you connect.

How long does rollout take?
A first project is typically live in days, not months: sign-in through your tenant, an estimate imported, the team invited. The rest of the stack connects as you go.
